Snap!! And not even for us (our son won’t go to his) - for my niece for next year!! When I told my dad (who will have to pay for it) he was looking at £400 for a dress he went a funny colour. Then I added on shoes, hair, makeup, possible underwear, transport … He did it’s not her fecking wedding!!!

Our eldest said his was crap & he wished he’d not bothered.

They should be stopped - what’s wrong with a disco in the school hall? Like we had. If we were “lucky”

100% this.

Bought my daughter a magazine today and am now thinking about taking out another mortgage - all for some pictures of Ariana Grande, fluffy cats and some fake ear rings.

Have a look online at a site called everpretty. I got the bridesmaid dresses from there and they do some lovely prom dresses. If you do order, order through the Amazon shop As returns are easier.

Also go by the measurements rather than the size if that makes sense. Really good quality for a really good price I was actually very pleasantly surprised.

"I recently got mocked for buying £2 Primark sunglasses.

I mean, it's not like I go out in the sun a lot anyway.

Fucking vampire.

Stop fucking vampires!!

I can’t make any promises.

Well obviously, you are male.

At least they won’t steal my garlic bread.

I would."

That’s exactly what a vampire pretending to be a human would say.

"Sunglasses.

I buy £3 primark pairs because I damage or lose them. I go on holiday and I wear them in the sea.

£250 Ray Banns. Looks the same does the same.

Just buy the £3 Ray Beris on holiday.

Makes you wonder how many of the LVs and OPs you see people wearing are legit. There must be a lot trying to look champagne on beer money!

There’s a website you can buy them all for about £15 each. The bags and 90% of the Stone Island you see will be from there."

Stone Island? Just had a look. Never knew they were still a thing since the hooligan days.

Looks like someone missed a few decimal Points at Primark. And I thought Balanciaga was a pisstake

You’re only allowed to wear Stone Island if you get your picture taken and make sure the badge is on display.

I’ve got a real pair of Ray Bans but I’d destroy them on holiday so I just buy the knockoffs as soon as I get to the hotel.

So what happens to the sunglasses? That’s 100 pairs a year!

Musical instruments & recording equipment..

I've seen bows for cellos and violins for upwards of 10 grand..(these are just the bows keep in mind, not the instrument itself.)

The most I've spent on a microphone is about 500 quid, but its not uncommon for some high end microphones to be 10 times that amount, or more..

There's a particular groovebox I've wanted to get for years, thats about 2-3 grand.. (A groovebox is basically a unit that you can create musical patterns with, step by step, usually laid out in a grid like fashion with all the sounds you need to create a track..drums, bass, synth etc). They are an interesting way of creating music instead of the usual sitting down with a synth or electric keyboard/piano..
