My friend met her husband in one. Not from here, from a dating site, he was very interested she wasn’t but she was happy to chat with him, then she agreed to meet up with him at a service point where he took breaks (long distance lorry driver) and one thing led to another, then she started going to his for weekends (Newcastle from Edinburgh) then she finally moves there and got married. |

I met a trucker in the toilets at Charnock Richard services once. We had a great chat about the roadworks at junction 30 on the M6 whilst splashing on each other’s boots. He seemed a hell of a nice guy  |
