I've been to Ukraine, very recently.
I have work colleagues in Ukraine, some of whom have just gone back to their homes in and around Kyiv.
I am supplying equipment to Ukraine for direct use in the war effort.
The whole situation is incredibly sad and draining. To be sat in a video meeting with a colleague who's sheltering in her bathroom is awful..
I hope that the people staying with your friends can recover from the tragedy.

"The saddest part is the mother and son were so chuffed to safe and sound and living in devon but i can't think how disjointed from everything they knew and loved they must feel "
Are there any more Ukrainian families in Devon/Cornwall? Because being in touch with her fellow country 'men' will be so helpful for her. Not that she is not getting support from the people of the South West. |
