Clear Soup Recipes

I’m having dental surgery soon which means I’m going to be very sore and won’t be able to eat much foods. I’m currently looking at what I can buy or make. My favourite soup is Baxter’s Cock-a-leekie, but any clear soup would do really. Also any ideas for soft foods other than baby food (lol), mashed bananas (boak) or endless scrambled eggs….

I don’t know how long it will take my mouth to heal, but knowing me, it’ll take longer than anyone else

Soups must be easy to make as I’m no chef.

I know. You've got one recipe, and another one coming. All because I bumped this thread. You're welcome.

Don't blend it and dont add cream or butter

Forget about the coriander , now you have your veg stock

Garlic and olive oil in a pan and saute , add mushrooms and saute till nice aroma comes out, put the veg stock and boiling and licking , add spring onions green . Add some salt or soya sauce in the end and you goid to go

It is, clear soups, sometimes referred to as thin soups, begin with a translucent broth or soup foundation, beef and vegetable soups are considered clear soups, as well as most chicken soups made with noodles or rice. Cock-a-leekie has a translucent base with added veg, chicken & rice.

Leek & potato is another clear (thin) soup unless it’s blended making it vichyssoise.

Scotch broth is a clear (thin) soup, but I can’t stand barley
