Since these 2 consoles have been out for sometime and keeping in mind that they are still difficult to purchase, I just wanted to know has anyone any feedback on them? Which would you prefer and why? |

I've a PS4 and a series S, and the only reason I bought the series S was for one game only, Forza horizon 5 haha |

Had a serious x from launch day yet to pick up a ps5 not paying scalpers prices
Honestly all depends on what you play the most
And how much your willing to spend on other things as it’s not just console this year that matters tv also comes in to play
When it comes to Xbox’s
As 120fps VRR is a game changer
It’s literally legal cheating at this point
If your primary a multiple player gamer
And not shelling out for a 4K or 8k 120hz VRR tv
Then the s is your best bet as it will do 120hz at 1080p
The extra cost off the x will be wasted as you not be able to game at 4K 120hz so it will be in the 1080 120hz mode so it really just be S
If your a single player gamer
I would take the X as you want the 4K 60hz upgrade grafics mode so no need for a 120hz tv
As playing outside 120hz mode this gen on multiplayer your at a big disvative
I can always tell when I come up against someone who’s not running 120hz VRR
I have been running my Xbox series x on
A Samsung 8k Q950R from dat one

I had PS5 at launch. Love it. Cant comment on Xbox as not played on one.
With my LG OLED it looks incredible. Never regretted purchasing, plus it now does VRR which is even better.
Dont really know the tech stats, just go with your gut

Ps5 here...got for retail, the disc drive can get a bit noisy on bootup, especially with cod in,the controller is excellent apart from the usual built in battery which im not a fan of,I got two controllers and a charge station so im never running out of juice at a critical moment, its a big ugly thing too and the stand that comes with it is not great, ive mates who have xbox x...performance wise they are much alike...if I could afford both I'd get both cos I MUST play god of war 2 but I really like forza horizon. |

Just got 2½ years of Xbox gamepass ultimate for £40 could have got more time if I realised another glitch earlier. If you have xbox and want to know how just send me a message. This is 2nd time I've done this. |
