Been on here well over a year now.
Have used winks. They don't mean a thing nor have value.
Fab messages.
I write something of worth about me and the people's I may be interested in.. no cock pics, no shut etc
In return reply received one word.
One liner,s
Oh nice but not my type. Good luck..

Both fab and wink helps me, so that I know they have read my profile and seen my pics. I would message straight to thank them to get to know their intentions |

A message is preferred. Why? Lend me your ears…(or eyes as you’re reading this)
A fab means little. I assume they just like my photos. Because I fab people pictures all the time, I’m likely to fab more if they are on my watch list.
If they wink, I assume they might want to see what my reaction is. Which is normally shock at first, and then I’d probably act on it. A message maybe or a wink back if I’m still unsure. |

If we receive a FAB we just think that someone appreciates the pic/pics. We wouldn’t act off it.
A wink - they are saying they like what they see and want to see if you wink back before proceeding further.
A message showing your intentions is self explanatory
That’s how we use the different ways of contact.
We look at them all but a message will no doubt be seen quicker.

To me they mean two different things; a wink means I like you/your profile and a fab means I like this particular picture of you; it may mean that they like you but that's not a given.
I much prefer a wink than a fab. |

I don’t mind either but rarely check them. Having said that I do have a little scroll when I’m ‘actively looking’, to see who’s expressed an interest and if I like them/they match what I’m looking for. It’s a good starting point for me. Thanks to anyone who has winked or fabbed in the past.
I fab and wink at people occasionally. Men and women. I don’t give in order to receive, but it is nice to receive, isn’t it? |

"My personal interpretation is a fab is a little, ooh that is nice and no more.
A wink is a little cheeky flirt, come say hello.
Both are nice.
I have to agree"
I second that |

A wink for me is more personal. Hey I'd like to chat.
Fab. If your like me, could just be something you like but necessarily delve deeper. I often scan the new photos for a browse but it could be someone miles away and not a match.
Just, well done, that's a hot pic |

I hear the offer of cake also works wonders in some situations |
