I keep a gratitude journal in which I write down three things I'm grateful for each day.

Today, I'm grateful that I've finished painting my bedroom and I love the colour. (I went for Setting Plaster. It's beautiful.)

I'm grateful that the ice cream van comes every week. I really feel for those of you that don't have that too look forward to.

And I'm grateful that me and some girlfriends have organised a weekend away in August which I'm really looking forward to.

What are you grateful for?

I’m grateful for starting a new job tomorrow so I can keep paying my mortgage.

Grateful that I still get time with a family member who is very sick, every day they are still here is wonderful.

I’m also grateful for the life I’ve lived so far, it’s been incredible and I’ve done so many things that I’m proud of and met some truly wonderful people along the way.

I’m grateful for the beautiful humans around me that I’m blessed to call friends, many of whom I’m seeing next week.

I’m grateful for my constant super awareness of my Vimto situation so I never get below 2l

I’m also grateful for my new hoover which feels like the greatest game ever and I may wear out. Never had housework been so much fun.

Health, family, enough dough to pay the bills, and sun in the sky.

My transplanted organs, without them I'd be done by now.

My partner, the girl of my dreams. For the first time in my life I have a partner and 2 years on we are still as madly passionate and in love as when we first fell.

My dog and cat without whom I would have gone insane. Dirk the cat is a lovable gent who knows who he likes and who he doesn't and Henry my guide dog who is mostly quite sedate and then has lunatic moments where he is like a child running about and loving every moment of it.
