We did it between Norwich and Manchester for 18mths. Together almost 9 years now, so yep in our case it worked a treat! As I've said in a resent thread I had the 'perfect' relationship for those 18mths - single and free to do as I pleased Monday to Friday and all the benefits of a couple at weekends lol |

Am in one right now, and yes it works.
We miss each other inbetween, sometimes its 2 weeks between visits.....but the great thing is we really appreciate each other and the time we spend together. Also are still in the honeymoon stage even after 2 years can't keep our hands off each other!!!!!
