What is the best compliment you have ever received

On the dating sites I’ve been told a few times at the end if the evening ‘nice to meet you and thanks for being normal’. Apparently there are a few nutters out out. Who’d have guessed! |

I posted my ultímate answer to this question a long time ago and I won’t ever repeat it again. So…
Recently a pretty hot girl told me a was pretty hot, or a dish, I can’t quite remember because I was pretty bamboozled on how she persuaded me to give her a snog in the first place. (Not true)  . So yeh, I’ll take pretty hot as a compliment right now. |

Ill take this as a compliment but not sure it was one though....
She said: "If I'd known you were a ginger I would've never gone out with you." Charming. You can go off some people....!!!

As a woman who used dating sites I'd receive a lot of compliments off men (as we do).
However, the two compliments that really stand out were from women. When my sons were little I was in a shop and the lady behind the counter said they were good looking boys and looked straight at me and said that it was no surprise as I was beautiful. It came from nowhere and maybe she just wanted a sale. I was a little embarrassed but also flattered. I found her a bit flirty but I may have imagined that.
A few months later a lady was in Tesco and was promoting something on a stand. As I walked past she asked if I was interested and I said no thank you and she just stared at me and said I had the most beautiful smile and wished me a lovely day.
I've never forgotten these two compliments. Maybe because they were from women and not men.

Other than from my partner or family & friends because they’re biased, someone called me really smart which I liked even if it’s objectively untrue. And someone called me ‘an excellent date’ recently and I was pleased to hear that.  |

The best compliments I’ve received are about my children. How I’ve brought them up to be pretty amazing kids and that my husband would be proud. It’s lovely to hear, hard to hear too and a little heartbreaking

Many years ago I had my tubes tied. They did it via bikini line and while he was doing it the surgeon checked everything out.
The next morning he came and said I had a beautiful womb. Random or what |
