Your age?
I put on a t shirt this morning and was greeted by
‘Mum!! No you can’t wear that!’
It was a Prince t shirt
I don’t think I usually wear anything that would suggest I’m ready for my slippers just yet, but I also don’t dress like a 20yr old any longer.
Is there such a thing ?

No I don't. I don't follow fashion trends, but I prefer simple styles that don't go out of fashion.
I'm fortunate, I don't look my age, so can get away with dressing quite young still.
Like you I'm not ready for slippers just yet  |

I wouldn't know, do clothes have ages on them so we know what we should wear?
If I'm too old for t-shirts with pretty skulls on them, shorts and Converse then probably not.

I wear dungaree dresses and turtle neck tops, dress tops, leggins... I guess some may say I dress too young but I don't care, I dress in what I feel comfortable in  |

I move with the times i do follow trends i couldnt be one of those that are stuck in 2005.
however my trainers are all vintage 80s i love casual classics like pretty green, vintage barbour ect  |

Others might/might not like it - I don't care. If it offends them then they can shove it up their jumper!!!

It's not what you wear necessarily it's how you treat others that counts in my book.
My sister a few years ago often used to slag off my mum's choice of handbag (oops, getting into the importance of being Earnest there...) It was a well made leather handbag with metal interlocking loops as a strap (it's the best I can describe - sorry), I used to call it her "Rock Chick" handbag.
My sister said to me are you not embarrassed when you take mum shopping cos I think it doesn't look right - she looks too old? Me ma was in her late 60's/70's approx then. I said no, cos lots of younger women used to stop & ask her when I took her shopping where she got her handbag from (I'd say they were in their mid to late 20's/30's.)
So - to answer your question Keep rockin' the Prince t-shirt!
Ignore cos clothing like many other things is cyclical. So ner-na-na-ner,ner! Then blow a raspberry.  |

Generally I like smart casual but depends on what I am doing or where I am. I wouldn't go to dinner in my ripped jeans and likewise I won't do my gardening in a versace shirt. Well not unless I had it for years and no longer wearing it out. For work, most of the time has to be a smart suit |

I’ve always been quite conservative really. I don’t think I’m mumsy in the slightest - just don’t really wear anything revealing. I like skinny jeans & pleather trousers with a vest & jacket mostly. Dress in the summer as hate wearing tights |

I bought a ‘Ramones’ T-shirt, but I’ve never worn it because I always thought ‘If you wore fashion last time around, you’re too old for it this time’.
But I saw them live a couple of times, and I liked it, and I wear slim jeans because I’ve got nice legs.

I don’t know what I’m supposed to wear, or who makes the rules so I wear more less what I like. Same as most people I guess it’s not my age stopping me from wearing some stuff, nowadays it’s the comfort. |

I wear what clothes make me feel confident and happy are they age appropriate? Probably not but I don’t really care either .

I deffo don't! One of my daughters is allways saying omg what are u wearing? My sister was telling me one of the younger women at work wears thongs and she said to her my sister(me) wears them and the girl said omg at her age? Bloody cheek! But sister did say to her u shd see her buttocks they very firm! Pmsl x |

I walked into my bank yesterday wearing a Mr Grumpy t-shirt ant the bank teller said "that's me". I've also got a matching Grumpy the dwarf one to boot.

Bbq tonight in a polo shirt and jean shorts and smart trainers.. all people around my own age (42)but sometimes I feel like I am dressing like a youngster ????? |
