"I can feel one brewing, not entirely sure why, think it could be frustration over the strain of constantly living with anxiety. Anyway, I’m sure I’ll feel better after.
Have you had one lately? Xx"
I hope you are ok! Crying can be cathartic. But take care of yourself x

I don't get it as bad as I use to, there were many times I would start to get really depressed for no reason and just want to be by myself and cry. There's a quote that's stuck with me 'just keep swimming', it helps remind me that the bad feeling will past.
Hope you feel better soon |

"Not for 15 years. Sorry to hear that you are struggling. You know where I am if you need me x"
Thank you I’m ok, it just builds up if I haven’t had one for a while! I was also listening to an interesting podcast yesterday that said it was common for people with anxiety to avoid any strong emotions because they can all feel like a threat, I’m wondering now if that’s something I do! |

Thank you! I’m trying to hold it off a while because I’ve only just put my make-up on |

I hope you feel better once you've had a decent cry! Life can get very overwhelming.
It's been a while since I cried - I always feel like I have to be stronger than that. There was a time in my life I also felt I didn't deserve to be allowed to and able to cry...but I know it's a very healing emotional release.
Sending you love and hugs .

"Yes. I’m trying to be so strong for a family member it’s breaking me. I come home sometimes and cry for ages. I cannot let them see this. It’s tough "
Bless you, that does sound really tough . Sending love x |

I cry, probably far too often.
Usually in the shower, or when I go to bed.
Sometimes the stresses of life just get too much, i think it helps though. You have a good cry then you're good again for a few days. |

this is going to sound ridiculous, but i absolutely bawled my eyes out yesterday at a tiktok video of the Sims online game where the Grim Reaper comes to take your dog away when it's going to die and he gives the dog a cuddle and says he was the bestest boy and then throws a stick into the 'afterlife' and then the dog bounds away chasing after it.
im even crying now writing this.. so emotional and for why?

I actually remember someone who had psychotherapy over grief telling me to set regular time intervals to "sit" with that grief and actually "feel" it, allow it in, allow the thoughts, allow the tears...I understand that anxiety can come over you out of the blue, but I'm sure it's the same with grief or any other strong and overwhelming emotion.
Maybe it's something you could integrate at a time that suits you and see if it helps...

I’m sorry to read you are feeling this way. Know someone who suffers from anxiety and insomnia and it’s not nice. Being amongst loved ones who genuinely care always helps; and if it makes you feel better crying then cry away. There’s no need for reason or explanations, if it should make you feel better and is not causing any harm to others then do what makes you feel happy. Plenty peeps on here who will gladly lend a ear should you wish to unload in private messaging (you’re not alone). |

I haven't had a good cry for a while but I have recently felt rather low for a number of reasons and I reached out to Mr NBVN to talk with me and that really helped me accept things, put positive energy into other things and move on.
Caring thoughts to those feeling a little low *hugs
NBVN x |

Thank you x A previous therapist gave me the same advice about worry, every time one pops up you send it away and then have a set time for sitting and worrying. I’m not sure how this would transfer to actual anxiety as most of my symptoms are physical and I get them even when I don’t feel anxious if that makes sense. I’m going back to therapy on Monday to try working on it all again, most of it comes from unprocessed trauma so need to try and work through it x |

Sometimes crying or screaming can be like a pressure valve and if it helps you release your pent up emotions then its not a bad thing to do. But if you find yourself crying a lot or you still feel angry or sad, then its time to ask for help. No one should suffer alone. Your GP should be your first port of call. |

Crying is cathartic , it’s healthy and it’s cleansing.. I have moments and I feel better for it. Crying means you care about life! Never be shamed, worried or concerned about emotion and showing them. |
