I agree, one is never enough.... its either the while packet or none at all.

At least the calorie count is very low on them.

And, do you consider them to be biscuits or cakes (ignoring their name of course)

Forget the science,,,,,, the acid test is,,,,, old stale biscuits go soft whereas as old stale cake goes hard,,,,

Unfortunately for my waistline neither get the chance to show their age in my house……

The decider between biscuit and cake, apparently, is biscuits become soft with age and cakes become hard.

yup they did but nothing came close to the cherry ones.. Think they either had a drizzle of white choc or it was icing over the dark choc.

The sponge was nice and moist too.. not too dry

In Your Bush

Did you know that before they have choc applied. They fall off a conveyor upside down. This squishes the jam on the top surface

You never know when that info may come in useful

Lidl’s got their awesome chocolate covered marzipan bars back in stock for Christmas so my attention is somewhat distracted from their cakes and biscuit selection.

Oh sod. I may have to make a pilgrimage to Lidl now.

I fear the diet will have to be put on hold for a week or two over Christmas. It may well take me a month to make up for the break.

No. I'm on a diet. If I buy them, I'll eat them, so no Jaffa Cakes for me.

Their bags of chocolate money are delicious too….

I bought one and intended keeping it safe till Christmas, but then I thought it best to check the quality just in case, and before I realised, I’d scoffed the bloom'in lot…. ,,
