Hi fellow fabbers.
I'm insecure regarding my beard, have been for yonks. It's passable to be fair. Eg: full coverage from side boards, under neck, tache joins up to side of mouth. But, a tad flimsy on the density. I feel if I must shave to look clean shaven, then the choice to have a fuller facial aesthetic is only fair.
On my walk back from work tonight I swear the Beard Gods were mocking me. Every f'ing bloke I passed whether younger or older than myself, adorned a far more splendid face forest! Anyone else share my insecurity? |

"Sort of. Although I hate beards and shave on a regular basis, as what little I do grow makes me look like a french pimp, I would still like the option."

"I've seen a Facebook thing where a guy was filling in his beard, much like women fill their eyebrows in"
Omg no, absolutely no! I'll wear it proudly as it grows. Even if it does look shire. |

My Grandad used to colour in his grey moustache with a dark eye pencil. He stopped doing that when he retired from work |

Here occasionally, but mostly somewhere else |
Well this is a new spin on the beard thread.
Well done OP.
I have had some facial hair for years - mine has to be worn with pride, or it wouldn't work at all.
So I guess, no, I'm not insecure about my follicles. I would like them to go full grey though- this intermediate stage is interminable, and I can't be bothered to either Just For Men it or bleach it platinum. |
