But if not doing anything is what you want to do then technically you are doing something.

My weekends are predictably and regularly uneventful.

Except the last bank holiday weekend, and I’m classing Mon/Tue/Weds this week as an eventful ‘weekend’ too.

by the big field

Can you expand on 'not doing anything'- as i quite like just mooching round the house doing a bit of DIY, washing the car, pissing round with 'stuff' in the garage.

While i don't get going in the morning that quickly, once i do, i'm not really a 'sit round and do nowt' sort of person

Torn between working 60 hour weeks and wanting to do nothing on the weekend to recover

Vs

Working 60 hour weeks and needing to do something on the weekend to actually have a life worth living

Any advice welcomed

Try not to work 60 hour weeks and make more time for yourself because it’s important. Then try mixing it up with both.

Or

Join a commune

With the cost of living and house prices they way they are, any suggestions on good communes around the London/Manchester area anyone?

Not into that culty stuff but I’m open minded
