just poped in for a bacon roll on my way back from town, god it used to be fast food, i was in there over 10 mins for a bacon roll, i should have gone to the baker up the road and got one there, would have been better aswell. but i was passing and was hungry.

And there was atleast 15 deliveroo guys waiting to pick up orders, i mean how lazy do you need to be to have mcd delivered, i was the only "real" customer in the place.

shant be going back.

quite a shock really, used to be walk in get food walk out , yes it was cheap crap, but atleast it was quick

Jeez a whole 10 mins!

I'd prefer to wait to know it's just been cooked than eat one that's been sitting out for ages.

Also, you went close to the end of breakfast serving so maybe they had started to prepare for the lunch time rush.

this was before 10 am.

my point is if i had known i would have to wait that long i would have gone somewhere else and got a better product, like i said i wont be going again, and it wasnt even cheap

you can all you like, but it never used to be anywhere that long, and you knew you were sacraficing good food for speed, that for me was the selling point.

like i said if i wanted to wait 10 mins i would have gone to the bakery and had a much nicer butty, but by that point i had paid etc.

im happy to wait for good food, but not for mcd

Thanks for letting me very kind of you.

I just don't think I'd be that bothered about a 10 min wait for a bacon roll.

Eat whatever you want wherever you want. Your thread has just amused me, that's all.

If only such food outlets had a generic label... Something like... Oh I don't know... Fast food?

It is disheartening when you go in and think it's quiet. Make your order and then look at the screen to see your order number 009 is about 20 places behind loads of random 4/5 digit order numbers. Then you just stand and watch for ages after delivery guy after delivery guy is called forward before you

Best going to a local shop, McDs need to vanish off the face of the earth

I'm with you OP. You used to be able to run in and run out, for decades that has been the case. Not anymore. Staff don't seem too fussed either; shuffling around looking miserable. Probably awful working conditions, so I don't blame them at all.
