£25 to sit on my lap

I always remember when under 2's flew for free because they sit on your lap. Now that I'm expecting it turns out that airlines are charging up to £25 per flight .

Robbing bastards, I know they need to rake their money back in after the last few years but that's ridiculous.

What are you paying for exactly, they're not taking up room, food, or service. The weight would hardly make a difference to an airliner's fuel consumption. Insurance? xx

Probably new safety measures/insurances have increased the cost

Or they are just robbing you

Maybe both

Don't be surprised to see loaded Moses baskets in the over head lockers, as labelling rug rats as hand luggage might be cheaper.

(Does the above comment make me look bad?)

Infants have never flown for free. You’ve always had to pay for airport taxes. I work at an airport and I’m unaware of this £25 charge. I suppose it depends on the airline…

They’ve been doing this for a while. We paid about £50 for return flights for our eldest 4 years ago.

You can sit on Tony's lap if you like ?, share the inflight meal ?. You'll also have a better view out of the window with no need to turn your head. He'll hold you tight too and charge you nothing for the pleasure(s) . As a disclaimer we take no responsibility for any endless caressing, kissing, hand between your legs, voluntary or involuntary orgasms or other issues that may arise, or discomfort that may arise from said prior issue arising in the first place
