I remember thinking the second world war was practically ancient history. It ended 39 years before I was born. I'm 38 this year. It's really not a big number. That's quite scary

It blows my mind that I work with a few people who weren’t even alive in the last century!!

I find it scary now that some people weren't born or alive when Princess Diana died in 1997..

When I realised 30 years ago was 1992, I died a bit inside

Our son is 20 this year - absolutely boggles my mind that he's that age

A much younger person I work with had no idea who Kurt Cobain was and I felt like curling into a ball.

"I remember thinking the second world war was practically ancient history. It ended 39 years before I was born. I'm 38 this year. It's really not a big number. That's quite scary "

Woah, wait! I never considered that! That quite a thought!

George Jetson was a 40 year old father in 2062. According to the timeline of the show he'd be born this year.

Looking forward to the flying cars.

It’s when you realise 1982 to 2022 is the same amount of time as 1942 to 1982 is … that makes me really lose my shit!

Thanks for all the honest replies.

My first thought is late 80s/early 90s. 2002 seems like a few months ago in comparison!
