I had already been given a few albums for my 14th birthday but in terms of one that I bought myself, I’m not 100% sure but I think it was Outlandos D’Amour by the police, not long after Roxanne was released as a single |

The group bad wolves covered that and she was supposed to be in that version of the song.. however the day she was scheduled to record her part was the day of her passing |

"The year was 1966
The 8 track was Pet Sounds by The Beach Boys.
The car in which it was fitted Was a Mini Cooper S"
My dad had an 8-track player in his 1971 Ford Maverick. I don’t remeber seeing it, but I’ve seen photos of it. And they had an 8-track player at home too.
First CD bought was Paula Abdul - Forever Your Girl. First LP would have been a children’s one or so in the late 70s. |

"First single is so embarrassing. Renee and Renata. Save your love
‘Star Trekkin’’ by The Firm, so I can beat you on that one "
I bought that one. And Doctorin' The TARDIS as well....
The first single I ever bought was This Ole House by Shakin' Stevens, although the first one I ever owned was Stop The Cavalry by Jona Lewis. Dad bought it for me as a birthday present the February after it has been in the Christmas charts, and wondered why he struggled to get hold of it
Can't remember the first album I bought, but the first I owned was again a birthday present, Brothers In Arms. On vinyl
