Stationary or not, you're still breaking the law. You wouldn't believe how many people I see that have had their lives destroyed by people not concentrating on what they're supposed to be doing. |

Not if your are positioned on the carriageway. Besides, you should be prepared to move off or make way for emergency services.
I sound like a miserable git but its one of my pet peeves. |

isnt it something like if you have the keys in the ignition, even if the engine is not switched on, you can get done if you are over the limit? |

as a cyclist who was ran ova 3 month ago by a driver on his mobile phone .. i am so with u that u shud not use mobles whist driving .. however ... she neva said she was driving .. just stuck in traffic |

i know a guy who went to the pub with mates .. drove there.. fully intended to get taxi home and leave car in the pub carpark and walk back the next day .. for wot eva reason they got split up so he decided to sleep in the car .. the police tapped on his window in the pub car park at 5am to wake him up and done him for drink driving .. he didnt even have the keys in the ignition .. they were in his pocket |

If she is just a passenger then no harm, no foul. I got the impression that she was the driver (she certainly didn't say she wasn't the driver). |

Home at last after 4 hours.
Thanks for the ideas be they fun, naughty or practical (i wouldn't want to get into or cause any bother and know know a little better)

I pretend my car has heat-seeking missiles and imagine blasting truckers off the road when they overtake another truck because they can do 2 mph more. It helps pass the time. |

I got stuck in that traffic as well from leeds to brighouse to ossit then back to leeds but I was in a truck looking down at the woman's legs and think are they swingers |
