We use Airbnb whenever we go away in the U.K. we prefer them to hotels, you get your own private space and the host are accommodating (check reviews and book a super host)

I love airbnb's, we've stayed at some lovely places...much more room than a hotel room, usually for around the same price, and often with free parking.
Some of the hosts are wonderful...one lady in Derbyshire that we've stayed with a few times is like visiting a relative, she always has the fire lit, brought freshly baked scones, and even invited us to share their evening meal |
