Are you excited for the movie? Or not so much ...do you think the sequel is coming out a few years too late? What are your thoughts?

I’m a bit meh about it but will probably watch it. The big thing about the original was the 3D experience wasn’t it, seems 3D has died a bit of death post Covid for some reason, so not sure how it will go.

It would need to have a good story line ,not just 2 hours of CGI.

Just watching the original on Disney + it’s a great concept, think they might have missed the boat a little with the sequel. But that being said Ghostbusters Afterlife was amazing so they pull it out of the bag.

I didn't think the first one had an original idea in it tbh. The 3D was its only selling point, so no one watched it again after it left cinemas. James Cameron seems to be the only person demanding sequels. As you may have guessed, I'm not exactly interested in seeing it

I saw Doctor Strange yesterday in 3D and it was one of the trailers 3D effects are amazing.

As long as the storyline isnt another version of A Man called Horse, Dances with Wolves etc. Then, yes. The 1st had some good scenes and some great cgi but the storyline was a straight rip off.

I thought the story of the first one wasn't exactly original. Unobtanium is a ridiculous name for an element. I was unimpressed with it but at least I didn't think it was as awful as Titanic. I doubt I'll watch the sequel. Luke

The first movie was amazing especially the 3D & the soundtrack was pretty cool.
