a horrible dress and make up at work for a panto we did. If I was going to wear a dress and make up I’d have wanted it to look way better.
If not that then probably anything my mum used to dress me in. She was so old with her fashion sense. |

I loved being the Dame in panto. Must have a search for the photos
I think the purple loons and long flown sleeved scoop neck t-shirt combo that I thought looked good in the 70s might be it.
Or the corduroy trousers and jacket.
Yeah, probably the double corduroy… |

"A pair of dodgy knock off velcro trainers with the Oakland Raiders logo plastered all over them.
"
Would this be the late 80’s early 90’s?
I had a raiders baseball cap in my “rap phase” growing up |

Truth or dare. Had to wear my friends knickers, a green leather miniskirt, croptop with a fishnet top over that. I then had to walk hand in hand with my friend around the very rough estate we were in.
I'm sure if we were spotted we would have been beaten up or worse |

When I was 18/19, I wore silver, silk Versace trousers and an vivid bright lime green R.L shirt, with brown Kickers. Thought I was the dogs bollocks at the time. |

Miami Vice was big at the time and i went to a nightclub in the eighties dressed in a lemon yellow t-shirt and grey suit jacket with the sleeves pushed up to my elbows. What was i thinking? Please don't tell anyone. |

There were certain parties where I use to pull out my mates really loud waste coats ????. My friends use to love it and got the vibe from them that it’s just a good laugh. I then went out to some free film premier with one on, yes. Lots of looks from strangers changed my mind that it was a good idea.
Felt a little too exposed that night. |

"Probably a pair of shit trainers while all my mates were wearing Nike Air Max, or Reeboks."
Remember having 'Tesco 2 spripes' when I was in primary school. Didn't know any different at the time. |

I think I had the same shell suit. It's amazing any of us survived that fashion trend as they were so flammable, ots a miracle we didn't all spontaneously combust. |

Dunlop Green Flash plimsoles in school, (with white out pen to cover the grass stains)
All my mates were in Adidas torsions and Nike Air's.
Graduated to Converse All Stars and a skateboard a year later so it all worked out, but thinking about it now the Converse were essentially plimsoles too!

One of my early bands when I was about 20 was in talks with a former variety agent who was starting up again after a few years of inactivity. He suggested we all wear similar clothes to give a band identity. So his wife made us these tops out of a satin/nylon type fabric in a horrid luminous green colour with a floral pattern . Needless to say we only wore them at one gig and never signed with him!
