Over the past few years when we’ve ever staged a bash…most don’t want a drink, eat much, talks endlessly about their kids at uni…consumes tap water and a salad sandwich

Middle age or are parties dieing?

Are they binging at home afterwards??

I think you really need to reevaluate which parties you go do.

When you say parties I’m imagining a 70s style swingers party with a cold buffet, martini ( out of the bottle) and keys in a bowl

You're obviously mixing with the wrong kind of people. Any parties we've held or attended with friends have always been fun. Family ones can be tame.
