Tea or coffee?

Not a big coffee drinker, so its seems silly to ask someone to go for a coffe when I'd much prefer to invite someone round for a cup of tea. Am I being fake? lol

Seriously though who prefers which? And how strong?

I dont drink either but i find that if i say 'fancy going for a drink' it implies an alcoholic one.

Coffee - I like it strong, intense and rich - like my women!

Tea - Green or Fruit teas with a small amount of honey.

Over the rainbow, under the bridge

It's nice to go for a coffee. I prefer tea but find that most places don't serve it the way I like it. Good and strong with about a third of milk.

Me too, will only have coffee at other peoples houses, as most tea is not strong enough. I like my tea very strong with just a touch of milk and one sugar.

I think tea tastes better in soft water areas. When I used to visit a friend in Hampshire I couldn't drink tea there. It was disgusting even with filtered water.

I stopped taking milk in coffee or tea when I worked in Wigan for a while in the 90s and most of the houses we worked in for some unknown reason used steri milk. What that's given me is a palate were I can taste the quality of the tea or coffee. Now I wasn't a great lover of coffee until I went to Italy. Now I've got my own dolce machine I luv it now it's time for an expresso with a heaped tea spoon of brown sugar Mmmmmm
