"well a girl friend is always good but fwb can be better as you can still have fun of relationship an companionship but also have your own time apart"
Personally I'm not after a FWB. It's difficult to get emotionally attached with someone when you know that they are only with you for sex and a good time. |

Not necessarily. That’s a fuck buddy. To me there’s a difference between that and FWB. A FWB to me is kind of like a relationship of sorts. All the fun and laughs without the hassle. Like a bubble. Not coming to my house, not meeting
My kids and family, not living with me or sharing my bank account etc etc. That’s how I see it anyway. |

Tbh I’m not sure what I’m after anymore.
When I first joined newly out of a relationship I was just seeking friends and fun times.
Now I miss the closeness of being with someone who’s on the same wavelength.
Will I find it? Who knows... but I’ll take the fun and friendship whilst I’m looking ![](/icons/s/twisted.gif) |

Depends on the type of person you are though. I know what I want and I know I’m very happy with my life and I’ll never want a “proper” relationship. I’ve had feelings of some sort for everyone I’ve met. If it’s a long term thing it’s inevitable. That doesn’t scare me though, it scares a lot of people on here. I guess it’s how you handle it and it’s important to be totally straight and honest from the beginning as to what you want, which I always have been x |

"If like a part time one. I like the idea of spending quality time with just one person but I don’t want anyone in my pocket. that what a fwb is really"
Not in my book. I don’t want a feeling of casual or an option and I don’t want them separate from my life. |

It does scare a lot of people, you're right. The last relationship I had (a good few years ago) was great up until I asked her that I wanted to take things to the next level. She wasn't ready for it, it feaked her out and it all went downhill after that |

Perhaps if you want a girlfriend as such, the dating sites may be better. I’ve never been on one so I’ve no idea how it works. I’ve heard some say they’re no different to fab though! |

Dating sites personally don't work for me. I've been actively on 2 of them for 10 years and one for 2 years. Im still on them and do spend time on them most evenings. My successful rate is providing to be as successful as Brexit. Its not working for me and its definitely not through a lack of trying.
I'm not particularly good at selling myself..its a good thing I'm not a salesman lol |

Yeah I’m better face to face. Maybe try some organised socials. My goal for this year is to go to more social events. They are good fun. |

I’m confused— why wouldn’t you have your own time with a gf too? |
