There’s the one you want. Tips, motivation, a place to vent and seek support when it’s not going so well.

Use a fitness app and track calories and get your daily 10k steps in, and for a few months give up drink and junk food if that's something regular . I lost 2 stone in covid years by doing that

Step counters are a great way to see what your doing. I did this when I went from couch potato to working again. so far over 500k in steps and the weight is still falling off.

Remember.....you can do it

Good job bro, your right on the protein. Protein is very filling and having a lot can really help with appetite and eating less

Drink a lot of water.

Suffer a bit of heartache.

Have people in your life that cause you nothing but stress and again, heartache.

Work out in frustration.

Save the wine for Friday/Saturday only.

Look at adding things to your diet, rather than cutting everything out, so you don’t feel deprived. Add 2 litres of water if you don’t already drink it. Add lots of fibre and foods that are good for your gut, fermented foods etc. Eat for your mental health and the motivation will come. I’m no fitness expert but it’s helping me at the moment. Getting enough sleep is massive! And as much sex as you can for exercise haha xx

Here occasionally, but mostly somewhere else

What worked for me a few years ago (and I need to get back to, to be honest), was drinking lots of water, especially before meals, and making a point of NOT clearing my plate.

The first part means I'm fuller longer, and less likely to snack.

The second part means I'm breaking the psychological imperative to eat because it's there. After a while, I found myself stopping when I felt full.

The other half of the equation is just to move more - enough walking / jogging / whatever to get you nicely out of breath a couple of times a day.

It's all really simple stuff, the hard part is execution. Do your best to stick to whatever your process is, but if you have a wobble, acknowledge it and reset - don't rationalise it, as before you know it you're addicted to rationalisation....

Diets have been around for donkeys years and dont really work if your honest

The reason we gain wait is lack of excercise

Im not talking going to the gym . That costs money .it also builds muscle up which pushes against the fat making you look better

To lose wait big time get up 40 minutes earlier in the morning....walk fast and briskly away from your front door for 15 minutes ...turn and come back .

Weight will start to fall off after 6 weeks
