"Boots No 7 line corrector. Not cheap but it definitely works. x
Now I've read good things about this and a friend recommended it. She has very smooth skin"
Line correcting booster serum it’s actually called. It’s really good. |

Ah not heard of that. I’ve started
Using a serum at night which has retinol in it which is supposed to be good. |

"Darn it OP, what an anticlimax.
I know. Click bait from the mods. "
Anyone who's been here a long time will know the closest I ever got to starting a thread about sex was when I asked for advice on how to dispose of a giant dildo. Which by the way is probably still in the loft |

Nothing apart from surgery or Botox will eradicate them, I know that but I'd like to at least slow down the inevitable march towards decrepitude |

Haha that’s my thinking too. It does work though. Although I’ve always been good with my skin so that’s probably helped. I haven’t many wrinkles. No way I could have Botox. I’m too much of a wuss! |

"Stop smiling!
Jo.Xx
like this?
It is cheaper than botox.

I couldn't have Botox, I couldn't bear having injections in my face"
I don't think I would have botox. Even though I have horrid lines they are part of me. I do believe that a good massage with your usual moisturiser daily should tone the skin.
Good luck and keep us posted if you do find a secret cure.

Will do .
Mind you the full Jimmy Edwards style moustache that I've sprouted in the last few years is starting to hide the lines |

Talking of which - and of no use whatsoever for the thread - how did the eye thing go?
Re botox, I can't get why people do it. Lines and wrinkles are totally normal and in no way off putting. A face like Voldemort on the otherhand ....

I haven't had the eye thing yet the *urgent* appointment is sti three weeks away. That will involve injections into the eyeball whether I like it or not (cry). I wonder if they'll throw a little Botox in while they're doing it... |

Out of interest, have these lines become more noticeable since you became a Mod?

"Caci is a type of non surgical face lift, they can have very good results. Can be quite expensive though "
I'm not able to pay too much and I don't want a face lift, I just want to minimise the look of these lines. |

"Ha! Made you look.
Rather than trying to treat them, have you considered just "owning" it?
You're very attractive in your pics.
Gbat "
Thank you.
I have considered owning it, I mostly do own my age but if at all possible I'd like to minimise these pesky lines. They're not even that noticeable according to my daughter but vanity and all |

My father is 95. He has visibly aged since my mother died in March but he always looked at least ten or twenty years younger most of his life. His mother was the same |

"Maybe look into microdermabrasion also.
It's meant to reduce fine lines, and improves tone and texture.
"
I'm a bit wary of that. Ideally I would like to buy a tablet that costs £1 has no side effects apart from the required ones which you take at night once only. Upon waking you discover that you look subtly refreshed and your mouth lines are gone never to return |

Aww that's lovely! Your granny was a wise woman. "
That she was. My late mum inherited her serenity and heart.
Two awesome women.
I owe my mum. So much.

"Retinol is something I've found to work. Only use it twice a week and it takes 3-4 weeks to start to see any change, but I personally find it very good. The Inkey List do a good one"
I have read about retinol |

Sorry didn’t explain that well, it’s not a face lift, its a machine that uses micro current helping to rejuvenate the skin and reduce fine lines and wrinkles |
