I was already in a job when the team manager moved to head a new team. His replacement was from a company that had just gone bust and we took a number of their staff on. This manager kept saying we were doing the job wrong because at his last company "we did this" and "we did it that way". One of our team was so fed up with this constantly being trotted out at team meetings she eventually said "yes, but they went bust"! Cue stifled giggles from the rest of us and her soon after transfer to another team!
