A very subjective question I agree, but what is your personal all time favourite song? Remember, your choice, not according to polls or record sales.
I’ll get the ball rolling- Gimme Shelter by the Rolling Stones.
It would be interesting to see how many repeats there are. |

"If going by sing a long songs, then it would be " sweet caroline " or " bohemian rhapsody ""
Anything by Sir Fred of Mercury is a blinder, BR is a particular favourite |

"Personally my favourite song is true faith.
Lyrically American pie, we didn't start the fire and love will tears us apart all have to be up there.
Musically blue Monday. "
Well played Sir, True Faith was perfect Indie pop |

"One Direction - Best Song Ever obviously.
Oops. Beat me to it "
Very clever of them. Every radio DJ had to say “Here’s One Direction with The Best Song Ever.” |

"'Whole Lotta Rosie' by AC/DC. On that subject, I used to manage a covers band in my spare time and the song 'Back in Black' seemed to get the best reaction."
Not heard that one but it’s AC/DC so all good |

Far too many to choose from but if you are forcing a confession from me under duress…right this minute I pick Fleetwood Mac - I Loved Another Woman
Tomorrow’s confession will be something entirely different! |

And anyway its a tos up between The Banana Splits song by The Dickies , Happy Talk by Captain Sensible (From the best band ever) and My way by Sid Viscous (not be confused with the poor original ) Your welcome |

I agree with the above. It's a bit hard to pin point a single track. It's not prescriptive & can change on a daily basis. Sometimes I'm on a balanced even keel, sometimes I'm down & feelin' blue, sometimes I'm so angry I punch the wall.....
VERY ANGRY:
Black Sabbath - "Neon Nights"
Scorpions - "Blackout"
Nirvana - "Smalls Like Teen Spirit"
"Been Caught Stealing"
Happy:-
Van Halen - "Unchained" (Come on Dave ,give me a BREAK....)
Rush - "Working Man"
Van Halen - "Jump"
AC/DC - "Problem Child"
Rush - "Limelight"
Scorpions - "No One Like You"
AC/DC - "It's A Long Way To The Top (If You Wanna Rock 'N' Roll)
FEELING BLUE:-
Whitesnake - "Need Your Love So Bad"
Scorpions - "In Search Of A Piece Of Mind"
Uriah Heep -"Rain"

Depeche mode - enjoy the silence
Fleetwood Mac - the chain
Kate bush - this woman’s work
Placebo - Nancy boy
Guns n roses - Patience
Stones - satisfaction

Depends on my mood.
Creep by Radiohead is often high op the list.
I’m no good, by Amy winehouse too.
On better days, wjwre the streets have no names.
And one day like this (elbow) and perfect day.
Sunday hangover, only one option, Sunday morning by velvet underground.
And all other times, it’s who ate all the pies |

Suppers Ready. Genesis. The Seconds Out live album version is magnificent. I've even been watching people's reactions on YouTube to their first time listening to it.
Every one of them just blown away. |

I love an epic, twist and turns, great lyrics, solos for your air guitar etc. There's 3 best songs for me head and shoulders above the rest.
Hotel California- Eagles
Paradise City - GNR
Three Days- Jane's Addiction

I'm not sure I could narrow it down to a top 100, it all depends on my mood in the moment.
Currently loving several songs by a band named Nothing More.
Musically and Lyrically.
Fade in Fade out
Jenny
Mr MTV
Sex and lies
Here's to the heartache
Still in love
Burn the witch
Just say when.
To name just a few.
Another day I'm likely list a different set. |

Such a hard thing to pick so I've selected one for each mood.
Sound Of Silence - Disturbed. The sheer emotion in this version is off the scale when you need something epic!
Hotel California - The Eagles. The musicianship in this needs no introduction and almost a constant in the background.
The Cult - She Sells Sanctuary. My pick-me-up tune! From that intro to that first burst into the main song it never fails to get me in a better mood!
For something heavier I can't pick one. Far too many bands I listen to in this area!

I will go along with Hotel Fornicatia (as I like to call it) but I can't for the life of me work out what is so great about the Disturbed number other than that anything is better than the dismal original. |
