Do you have a good sense of humour?
I’m not asking do you think and like to boast how funny you or others think you are. We can all tell a joke you heard, But can you ‘sense’ good humour?
I see it all the time and I’m sure it’s missed massively. I think there’s some pretty funny and witty people in here that get overlooked. I can tell you now, I notice it and it’s one of the most attractive things to me. Sarcasm. Dry. Dark.

I like people with a *compatible* sense of humour, I guess most people have one, but yours might not be to everyone’s particular taste.
So it’s not really an easy question to answer, in most people I DO find a sense of humour attractive, but if their sense of humour isn’t to my taste then it can be unattractive..

I think some peoples humour on here is hard to gauge in writing. When you can’t see facial expressions or hear the tone it’s not always easy to realise someone isn’t being serious.
I think a lot of new posters have trouble with this because nobody gets their humour. |

Yep, very much this. Plus, someone's idea of dark, sarcastic... etc is very different to another's. I do find those with a compatible sense of humour and reference ability attractive. Very attractive. |

This is true there's a attractive lady in the post and I wanted to post the first thing that came into my mind when reading her post .but I didn't for the simple reason there was a very good chance she would take it the wrong way . But in the flesh I would have just said it as im sure she would have seen the fun in my eyes and known it was said in jest . If you have a wicked streak you have to fight your instincts sometimes . |

I had to slowly get cheekier and cheekier with my responses when I first started to post because people didn’t get that I was joking. I still censor myself a bit but nowhere near as much as I did originally. |

I'd like to think I have a good sense of humour. Put it this way I find tue best way to make women laugh is to pull down my boxers to reveal Herbert the Slug. Obviously not like in tesco or somewhere as that's just weird. |

I blame the Army for my dark sense of humour, some just don't get it. Like if you say " I promise I'm not a mad axe murderer" and then follow it up with " having said that, that's exactly what a mad axe murderer would say"...you can get some funny looks. |

I agree it's massively attractive, OP. Also agree there are some very funny people inhabiting the forum! My sense of humour is dry and quite subtle, I like to think. I won't be the guy spinning dits all night, but might have a quick reply or two, and am very happy to laugh at myself. I'm pretty informal so can struggle with people who take themselves too seriously, but laugh easily so a good audience member! Not sure if that means I have a broad sense of humour or am just not very discerning!
But as someone else said it's more about sharing a sense of humour to me - if you can make each other laugh, you're on to a winner...
