Tell me, Fabsters, what the best sandwich filling is please.
Any unusual, but delightful, combinations you’ve stumbled across?
Any that other people think WTF! but you think yum yum?
Inspire us, my friends, I need some inspiration! |

Roast beef with horseradish and cheese as a toastie
Fish finger butty
Ciabatta with fried off chorizo, sun dried tomatoes and melted cheese
I may die fat and from a cardiac arrest but it'll be with a smile

"Turkey, bacon, lettuce, tomato and avocado on whole grain bread with mayo…
There's hardly any in Florida but if you're ever near a Pot Belly, get a big wreck, I love that sandwich!! "
The closest location is in Tampa, a 3 hour drive.
The big wreck sandwich might be worth that drive.
Salami, Angus roast beef, oven-roasted turkey, hickory-smoked ham, melted Swiss cheese topped with fresh lettuce, tomato and mayo on a loaf of multigrain bread. |

"Spag Bol & cheese toastie
Or Beef, red onion and tartare sauce on salter & pepper white bread
Tartare sauce with beef..? Surely you mean horseradish...
But we all have different tastes"
No definitely tartare. It’s the tanging gherkin sauce, it’s banging |
