Time and distraction. Keep yourself busy, get out there amongst other people, take up new hobbies. Keep smiling however hard it is, keep thinking positively, push out negative thoughts. Smile and say hi at others you pass in the street... I Tony went through hell before finding Cherry. I once thought I was with the love of my life but I was so very, very wrong... she's here now. |

If you know they feel the same why do you need to get over them? As long as there isn’t irreparable damage to the relationship do what we you can to make it work. |

I finally got over my ex from when I was 20, it
literally took about 10 years, I used to constantly imagine the life I should have had and feel sick at the loss.
Then slowly if faded and years later she wanted sex, we did it a few times. She was the same person but I’d changed , I felt relieved I could fuck her and not want her in my life in the slightest |
