When I first saw Alien (in around 1978) it was absolutely terrifying. Nothing like it had ever been seen before. I was with friends and family and we all went for a drink afterwards to calm our nerves! |

Have never plucked up the courage to watch that all the way through.... All of the others I've watched.... Think it has something to do with me being a kid and waking up on the sofa with it on lol |

I watched both Poltergeist and the original Nightmare on Elm Street twice. First time didn't think much of either, second time they both scared me sh*tless!
I also went to the cinema to see the original Friday 13th. at the end when he jumps out the water and gets the girl in the boat, in the middle of a packed auditorium, I screamed and throw my coat over my head!

The Exorcist (Director's Cut) - the bit where Regan comes down the stairs in a crab position is scary as feck
Se7en - walked thru some roughish area of London to the pictures to see that when I was on a course in the Big Smoke...bloody terrified walking back to the hotel afterwards
Chitty Chitty Bang Bang - The Child Catcher has haunted my dreams for more than 40 years
Aliens - the bit where they're in the lab with the embryos in the glass tanks, someone knocks on the tank n the alien knocks back
The Wicker Man - the final scenes where Sgt Howie first sees the Wicker man |

"Stephen Kings 'It' bloody terrified of clowns now..."
I forgot Pennywise (It is my fave ever book), but the scariest clown for me was the one under the little boys bed in Poltergeist |

Anything with clowns does it for me... even the toy master, don't like China dolls as they freak me out to... |

I am terrified of the Exorcist, even now, the religious aspects of it and the voice really frighten me.
I'm scared of ghosts too so anything like Paranormal Activity will scare me. |
