I’m very good at a handful of things, and woefully mediocre at many others. With other things somewhere in between. Life has taught me that everyone else is the same, it’s just the skills that people are good at / are woeful at differ from person to person! |

"Is there any coming to terms with realising you’re really average at everything? Or is it better than just being shit?"
I’ve realised this a long time ago. I have no talent I’m not particularly good at anything, I’m clumsy, im not the prettiest flower in the florist or the sharpest tool in the shed but I make the most of what I’ve got. |

But what's average? How do we measure it, your average may be mediocre to one person and to another it is there goal.
Take pride in what you do and sure if you not good at something either work at it or dont do it.
I'm good at my job, I'm a good friend, but I'm crap at swinging and fab but I'm still here |

There is, but there's also heart to take in knowing you're average at everything. Sure, you aren't going to set the world alight but then you're not gonna burn it to the ground either. Not many people can be average across the board at everything they do, and it means you can be relied upon to get a job done to an adequate standard |

As far as I know I’m only good at 3 things… My job, being a dad and lifting heavy things.
I’m ok with the fact that I’m fairly average at everything else because those 3 things are important to me.
Maybe you just haven’t found the thing you’re good at yet. |

...one could argue that we’re all average even if considering to be exceptionally good at something, etc., since there’s always going to be somebody; somewhere in this beautiful World of ours that maybe able to be better...
it’s ok to be average...!
even better to be humble... |

Most people aren’t average , most people don’t earn average wage etc average is rare.
I think op means not exceptional , just ok. I guess you are well matched to people who think the same, but I don’t personally believe anyone is. Maybe life / people just made you believe it |

I'm more than happy being average.
Average height, weight, build. There's nothing about me that makes me stand out in a crowd.
I don't want or need to be different. Happy with what I have and wouldn't change it. Accepting and being comfortable with yourself is important.
