I still get that with my Father in Law now.. exactly the same stories every time. I indulge them as he enjoys telling them, and I’ll miss it when he’s not around to repeat the same old tales over and over. |

I miss hearing those stories. But I also miss the random new things my grandma would come out with. Like the time she told me she had a thing for Lee Mack. She liked his intelligence. And he was "a bit of alright". If only she'd been 40 years younger. Still makes me laugh  |

Most definitely she was never mean or cruel about people intentionally she just said it like it was.
I remember her saying something one time and I was like you can't say that. She was like I suppose I'm lucky I could be like the two neighbours next door, ones loosing her marbles the other breaks something everytime she falls.
I howled and was like you can't say that.
She just replied but it's true, she wasn't saying it in a cruel way just here delivery l. |
