"Brought or bought?
I’ve bought many frying pans in my life… but never brought one to a meet or a social. "
I’m actually intrigued by the reaction I would get turning up with a frying pan in hand |

Ah, well done OP!
You mean "Is that a frying pan in your trousers or are you just pleased to see me????
The chicken or the egg question... did you buy it or did you just find it and bring it along?
Do people dump frying pans in country lanes like sofas?
I have: A wok; An Omelette frying pan; and finally a frying pan.
I've never brought it anywhere with me. It stays in my cupboard like it supposed to! I wonder what that says about me?

It tells me that we’d enjoy a pint together!
Then, quite probably a midnight kebab. |

It can also show we're not supposed to nitpick people's grammar and spelling around here, so some of us kept our feelings to ourselves and answered the intended question |

No I just pinch them after making breakfast if I stay over, saves washing up straight away but you got to remember to let it cool down because you don't want hot oil spilling on your bits.
Anyone for a fry up? |

Oh god yes! I learned a lesson when I ‘nitpicked’ … it’s a forum No No! |

I have feelings (not about this or any other post, just in general). But I don't go there in the forum. |

"Is there a right and wrong answer Sam? I’m worried I might get it wrong "
Nope.
The information I was gathering is all contained in the responder’s interpretation of the question.
All those responses that wrongly try and ridicule the grammatical accuracy of the question speak for themselves.
Those that read and answered the question as it was written speak for themselves.
Those that wittily formed a response that was friendly and even made me chuckle are the ones I’ll dream of frying eggs for. |

"Oh Sam!!
This isn’t what I expect of you! Frying pans? bloody FRYING PANS!! good grief man it’s a sex site "
•
Oh, I don't know Cougs: this is actually quite an unconventional and original post.
Obviously it will set the impetus for any follow up "Rate My Frying Pan" threads or perhaps "What would you do to the poster above: fry, sauté or fuck?"

"I once bought a Le Creuset frying pan, worst kitchen purchase ever, well apart from my ex-wife buying a garlic press. "
What!! are you mad. I'd be lost without my garlic press. One of the best inventions ever |

Sam, I use my trusty wok and I’d never bring it anywhere. It only sees my kitchen.
However I do have a lovely heavy as fuck steel skillet a la the Disney spectacular Tangled because it looks well cool. Once I have mastered being able to swing it around my head, I’m going to bring it everywhere I go. Safety first. |

Mad, whatever do you mean?
Flat of the blade to press and then finely slice, no gadget required! |

Yes. A lovely big tefal one with the red spot. All my previous ones had been hand me downs. As an added bonus at the till it was cheaper than expected (on offer but they forgot to change the price card reflecting this). Had it years now and it also always comes camping with me two. |
