No I know biscuits and their interpretation of what a biscuit is can be contentious (the great Jaffa cake debate) but what I'm interested in is what as a child you and your family called particular biscuits. For instance as a child Garibaldi's were always called dead fly biscuits

It doesn't seem to taste the same now, but I still buy it at Christmas as it's tradition

So many disappointments over the years hearing a metal rattle coming from the biscuit tin
