After a night out, would you think they had more in mind than coffee?

Asking for a friend.

Well I’m not actually I’ve just had a few too many and my neighbour kept asking me in for coffee

I’d probably assume that it was for more than coffee even with this context but I suppose it could’ve been genuine.

When I would invite a woman over for coffee that is what I meant, but so many women would assume that I was trying to lure them back for sex and get cagey with me that I eventually decided that unless I wanted to fuck them it really wasn't worth the agro, so now coffee means sex.

Most people I know who drink coffee regularly don’t drink it late in the evening as it keeps them up. Myself included. So I would expect the invite to have an ulterior motive.

It's a sad fact that life has taught me not to be alone with a guy in some circumstances unless I'm 100% certain of his motives.

I know that most men are decent and respectful but the minority are the ones I guard against. Therefore I'd refuse an offer of coffee after a night out unless I either knew it was actually coffee or I was happy for it to be more.
