Yes. I can be sat, standing, walking or not doing/doing anything and I can get sharp stabbing pains. It's not usually in the same place twice though, it will happen in different places on my body. It's weird. |

"Can you have no symptoms at all yet suddenly you get pain?
I was fine but woke up during the night because my arm and hand was aching like hell"
You might have slept on it funny.
Or bashed the bishop to vigorously.
Try sleeping on the other arm and wanking with the other hand tonight and see if the same thing happens.
If so....there's your answer!

As we age various issues start to creep in such as trouble sleeping, waking to pins and needles, dry eyes, unexplained muscle pain etc. Men often suffer a kind of male menopause too and this can manifest itself in different ways... Don't suddenly move on waking, take it slowly. Carry on as normal and if the pain is still there in a few days contact your doctor, by all means search the Internet too but you must speak to a professional. |

"what leads you to believe it could be RSI?"
I'm shuffling lots of a4 sheets of paper at work.. my hand and arm ached so adopted a new method of sifting through paper and seemed to solve the problem. Rubber thimble on fingers helped too. |
