Everyone likes one - right?
What’s your go to ? You know, you’re walking down the line, eyeing up the food - what do you hope to see?
I like a sausage roll - I’m simple |

I hope to see a tidy, well organised selection of foodstuffs.
Not a dis-organised mess that the 32 people before me have prodded and poked with their dirty, pissy, unwashed fingers.
Thats why I run when the buffets announced, contrary to popular belief, it's not because I'm a greedy cunt.

"Egg sandwiches every time!
Can you trust an egg sandwich?"
A female colleague of mine was renowned for only providing egg sandwiches on the grounds that 'Everyone likes egg sandwiches'.
Tough on the ham, pate, and smoked salmon lovers. |

I have to say that I am more than happy with the buffets at Eureka from the hygiene standpoint.
All trays have a shroud of film which is progressively peeled back as items are taken, thus leaving the bulk unfingered and not coughed and spluttered over.
Not mixing different items on the same tray helps with hygiene as people don't go poking around so much. |

Did I just put some kind of actual life to the food we eat? |

What heat?
I'd like to think that cold buffet stuff is ALL kept cool.
You aren't getting mixed up with barbecues, surely? Now, they are germ breeding grounds par excellence. |

Missin’ Yo’ Kissin’ |
Cheese & bacon quiche.
Sausage rolls.
Chipolata sausages.
New potato's & salad & any other coleslaw crap that's a bout.
Porkpie crust & jelly (but not the pork pie meat cos it's minging, too chewy & fatty - Yuck!)
Then crisps building it up to a potato chip mountain like Close Encounters (although that was mashed potato.....) |

Indeed there is, on certain days, preceded by other tasty morsels on offer. Hands all washed in between, hopefully but even if not I feel safe.
It says a lot for the hosts that I am more than happy with the feeding arrangements there as I am another Winston when it comes to such matters, ever since studying a health and safety module during teacher training and never forgotten. |

I get excited over the scrambled egg and also when I see the bacon is nice and crispy "
Ooooooo game changer
I’ll only go to the egg, when it’s fresh out though. I’ll admit to sitting and waiting for it |

"The jelly in a pork pie "
Pork pie itself same goes for scotch pies biting into a layer of greasy fat, gristle and spices to disguise the experience - except that is for the Buffalo farm scotch pies, second to none, non greasy no gristle just sublime…. |
