Always a solid seven hours a day. And about the same at night.

I get between 5 and 6 most nights and I’m always shattered. 7 seems to be ideal for me but I rarely get it

abruzzo Italy (and UK)

I almost always sleep in two halves with a gap of a couple of hours where I’m awake in the night in the middle, but the two halves normally add up to 8-9 hours regardless of the split, so I have to allow for being in bed for about 11 hours, if I have less than 7 hours total, I’m just useless

Sleep and a sleep pattern is very important

Your body repairs itself as you sleep.

I'd love to be getting 7-8 hours uninterrupted sleep but alas.

In the middle

Around 6 works for me in the week, at the weekend I go to bed late to try and convince myself I’ve had a lie-in when I get up around 7.00

At least 6.5 hours. We go to bed late & the alarm goes off at 6.30 every morning. I don’t get up until I’ve had 2 cuppas though

Anywhere between 5 & 7 depending how knackered I am. Solid sleep makes a difference too, I'm okay if it's a solid block, broken sleep is a killer.
