The main one is the sport of the gods, The greatest game on the planet kabadi, but apart from that rugby league then motorbike racing then cricket, then all the other sports apart from football and rugby union find them both incredible dull, |

I always played both football and rugby union but dropped rugby when i left school as i was a better goalkeeper than a rugby player, lol.
Now i wish i'd stuck with the rugby, the discipline and respect is far greater than those jumped up girlies who kick the round ball.
So to answer the OP i'd have to say rugby these days. |

Cycling particularly on the track and triathlon.
I am getting more and more interested in the world of ultra running, but anything epic gets my interest. |

Depends whether we talk participation or observation. I absolutely adore watching Martial Arts for their graceful agile moves which involves speed, body control and flexibility. I also love watching gymnastics for similar reasons.
I enjoy playing volleyball and I love dancing. |

Wonder if Sexual Gymnastics is classed as a sport.

"Rugby union. Rugby league is for bored footballers who couldn't make the step up to union. "
Clearly deluded my friend more league players make transition to union than other way.
Jason robinson and most recent chris ashton.
I find union boring except when they pass the ball all the kicking spoils it.

As a participant I enjoy swimming and canoeing most …….sometime both
As a spectator I guess it’ll be formula 1 and footy….
Strange nobody’s mentioned Fishing yet as it’s estimated over one million in the UK regularly do it….
Oh well perhaps swingers don't fish!!!

Just about any sport with an engine, I enjoy the technical parts of it as well as the skill and courage required to do it well.
As for for playing sport, I'm too old now to be competetive, and thats the reason I played, loved giving it my all and leaving feeling that I'd done all I could for the team. Now if someone wants to set up a league for old gimmers give me a shout,
Walking and cycling are my main forms of exercise now, and sometimes a blast on the old Suzuki |

Too old??
Just an excuse! one of my friends is older than you, a multi world masters champion on the velodrome and can still more than hold his own at local and evn national level events against riders half his age, I also know people competing on bikes that are 10, 20 and in some cases almost 30 years older than you! |

All that proves is rugby union has more money than league, super league salary cap is 1.8 million union salary cap is 5 million, and there's no cap in france that's why all the English big names left and went over there, I read an interesting quote which was union is a game for gentlemen played by thugs and league is a game for thugs played by gentlemen |

Rugby League is for those of limited brain cells who cannot understand laws "
Union is the one where the ball spends most of the game in the air isn't it league is more enjoyable to watch any day of the week |

Because you need lots of brain cells to constanty kick a ball from one full back to another |

Union is OK, but way too many breaks in play !
League has the ball in play a heck of a lot more !
But easily appreciate how both codes have referee's who have control of the game and players, not like some other sports that shall ...
Coughs ...
Premier League ...
Coughs again ...
Remain nameless !! |

Sport is the new opiate of the masses...muddied oafs and flanneled fools. Play by all means, just don't make everyone in the pub watch. There are A LOT of us that don't like any of them. |

I am not a sports person at all, watching or playing.
Only sport (if you can call it that) I have ever been any good at, is darts.
I am very lucky that Mr B is not a big sports fan either, except for F1.

Ever heard of bread and circuses? It distracts people from what is really going on, because they are too busy arguing about so and so's new defender etc. Keep watching the game and you won't demonstrate against the governments injustices. |

Always enjoyed cycling, time trials etc but found it a lonely sport, much prefer team sports, football, rugby and the last team game was American football. Being with a bunch of blokes and being a part of the team was a major factor in my enjoyment.
And as for age being an excuse I don't see many young blokes with dodgy knees playing a high impact game... |

Stop being a mong and speak properly.
Ive coached sport for 25+ years and I know the difference I have made to peoples lives, Ive helped some get back on track and chose the right path, one or two have turned professional in other sports than mine, and one or two have represented GB. So get off the mongy train and stop talking in mongy riddles so at least I can understand your replies. |

I went to the premier league darts earlier this year at the CIA/Motorpoint Arena, what a great night out that was. £20 I think, worth every penny"
wkd bet it was. Its my lifetime wish to go to the bdo at lakeside one year, keep hinting to family... Anyone wanna take me there on date lol? Also agree with yr comments re politics of sports. Yes its the opiate of the masses but im happy to put it in my pipe and smoke it! When they organise the revolution ill miss the match to attend. Til then im stickin with me sports |
