Whether losing weight, just keeping fit, training for an event/competition or sport.

How did it go?

Good, bad, indifferent, it's all

work in the bank.

4 weeks into my strength block, intensity up, ramps up even more the next 4 weeks. Hitting my numbers, strength moving up nicely. Staying niggle free, best it's been in over a year.

Short rest week after week 8 and I go again.

Not good. Started well with two good cardio sessions and a weight session but caught a cold so am now taking the rest of the week off and seeing how I feel on Monday.

My week was just average.

I'm really missing my fitness classes, which I've had to scale back on since Feb as I've been training for MK half marathon (my first ever half), which is taking place on Monday. Have been really mindful of not overworking and picking up an injury this week, so at best my phys has been average. Disappointing and trying not to be hard on myself.

But after Monday (well maybe Wednesday by the time I've recovered!), I'll be back to my old class routine and will be a happy apple again.

Manchester(ish).

Not bad. A week of floor work and wrestling, so I ache all over. And a week of morning yoga.

Not an earth shattering week. But its a good solid one.

Mixed bag, but I'm going to focus on the positive. Was the end of a mini-hypertrophy cycle and just hit a new 8 rep max on the RDL, so that's good. I'm definitely more comfortable in the strength ranges so pleased to build some endurance again...

I say this every week, but need to bring a little more cardio/HIIT in - summer's coming! Might start the couch to 5k. Or has anyone tried the F45 classes?

The gum is definitely still over there somewhere, and I haven’t been to it.

I work out at home, YouTube has loads of great videos, yoga, abs and glute exercises, plus daily stomps work for me.

I've had a lazy week compared to normal.

3 sessions in the swimming pool.

Normally between 30-60 minutes swimming session 5 days a week. With at least 5 45 minutes sessions per week on the exercise bike also. But broken bike means need a new one so on the hunt.

Mostly swimming, 40 lengths a day. Keeps me flexible.
