You can only be one. Which one are you? Tell us!

Please show working out. And mail me your homework if you haven’t already. (French or Saunders thread).

It is almost exam season

So positive, my vanilla friends always joke that I try to turn most situations into a positive. Which can be annoying if they really wanted to bitch about life.

I am a positive realist.

Things may be shit or may be amazing, but all things will pass and in the long run not much that I go through really matters. May as well just enjoy myself along the way.

Realistic. Doesn't mean I'm not positive or that I'm all doom and gloom but I also don't think if I wish hard enough, a flying unicorn will shit rainbows in the sky.

Initially positive.

But having 'seen' the recent performance of our new Fab Mayor I have a realisation that she's as much use as tits on a fish.

I can’t choose one either. I am mostly positive, but also a realist

I'm gonna go with realistic. An overly optimistic or pessimistic approach to life risks missing opportunities. If you're too pessimistic you won't take them when offered because, well, what's the point? If you're too optimistic you'll ignore them as why make the effort when everything will work out just fine anyway?

Realistic means setting the world as it is not as you believe it to be.

I’m positive, we create what we imagine, there’s no place for realism when creating.
