Ever bought a really shite album?
Jump to: Newest in thread
I bought "Bigger, better, faster, more" by 4 Non Blondes back in early 90's simply on the strength of the single "What's Up?", which I will say is one of my favourite songs that I seem to include in any compilation cd that I create myself to play in the car, and it's an ever present on my mp3 player.
The album though is utter shite and I've never owned a worse album.
How about you lot, what you think? |

The Temper Trap : Conditions
Bought on the strength of Sweet Disposition
Might be a slightly contentious choice this one, but also
Snow Patrol : Eyes Open
Bought on the strength of Chasing Cars |

"white feather
half of paul wellers keep going back
though"
The worst concert I ever saw was Paul Weller!
Shittest album was Flash Gordon soundtrack. It was the first album I bought, really wished I could have gone back to Woolworths for a refund |

I bought one of those compilation 'Reggae' albums because the three or four tracks they featured on the telly advert were good. Turns out they were the only decent ones on the entire double album. All the others were just a dirge and most of them I hadn't even heard of. What a complete waste of money! |

Got to admit it was one of Paul Wellers recent ones, so bad I can't even remember it's name
Oh and a Sting CD that was ancient hymns and chants...
Took it back to Tesco after saying someone bought me it for a present |

I've got several. I'm awful for buying CDs on the basis of one track, or compilations for a few tracks.
I've got some howlers in my collection.
I'm trying to think of an example.... um... |

"Gong... Camembert Electrique; Fripp & Eno... No Pussyfooting"
Gong are a great band... admittedly Camembert Electrique is not their best...try Angels Egg or Shamal...probably too weird for most people but brilliantly put together. |

Can we have that again, only in English ?" That is in English and the artist and LP title in order. I suggest you might need some English lessons |
