Yes it’s insane……I’m just refusing to pay, it’s costs £8 a month for not having DD but they will accept offers you know if you withhold payment for a few months first they are quite open to settle for a much lower amount. I do this all the time with bills , they really don’t want to be spending money on recovery / county court |

Our direct debit has stayed the same even though our fixed deal has just finished so unit prices have gone up a lot. We have reduced usage so the cost this month is only a few pounds more than April last year. |
