... it was a non uniform day at our daughter's school. We got a phone call at 08:45 to say she was upset because everyone else had party clothes on. I've just left work and done an emergency aid drop of a twirly-whirly dress
What did you forget today and what were the consequences? We got a very disapproving glare from the school receptionist |

"Pity the school has nothink more important 2 do no wonder the students graduate with low results "
I'm really happy to meet someone who knows EXACTLY what the 'non uniform' day was for and PRECISELY what effects it has on pupils and staff and the wider community ...
Please tell us all. I don't want to steal any thunder. |

It's a brilliant school. And the non uniform is for a charity thing. Yes, terrible school, encouraging five year olds to engage in charitable efforts. They should be sat in rows, writing out Latin verbs x100 |

I’m sure they were just thinking of the child believe it or not, they do get upset when they stand out from others. |

I know, I know. You would think the sole purpose of a school was to expand the minds of the pupils. |

I wouldn't say I forgot to wear a bra as I'm wfh and have barely worn one for the past 2yrs, however, not everyday two fit coppers knock at your door and I'm stood in the most unflattering jumper, with no bra |

I have done exactly that...
Also on 2 occasions I have gone into work on a bank holiday. Much to the joy of the security guards on the gate.
