I don't drink any more primarily because the fall out started to outweigh the enjoyment of the actual night.
3/4 days of feeling like boiled shoite isn't worth the piss up.
The other advantages have been :
- I no longer dance on tables at the works do (before the meal has been served)
- I no longer stage 'sit in' protests in clubs because it's light on time and I don't wanna go home
- I no longer feel the need to tell my mum about threesomes
- I no longer strip off and get my aunties couch whilst they are still up watching TV
- I no longer start random 'Oops upside ur heads' in the kitchens of people I don't know
- I no longer try to convince my cousins best friends that goatee beards are conducive to good oral
and so on, and so on .............
So there's ur dilemma OP.
You have 3 options :
- carry on drinking and reap the hangover whirlwind
- moderate your drinking and be seen as a misery arse by ur mates
- drink bugger all and risk becoming a boring old fart like me  |

Late nights dogging then going home for a drink, having a fair few at private parties and swinging into the early hours, all night shagging and drinking will catch up on you at some point.
It did me
There is a lot to be said for the old saying "everything in moderation"
I was feeling pretty rough all week after a full on weekend, so decided to keep going all week instead of stopping, the outcome wasn't the best
Add to this, working long hours and the rest and I was burnt out.
Speaking from experience, pace yourself and take it easy.
The best way to explain what I mean is,
There was a father bull and his son stood looking at a field of cows, "dad, dad, lets run into that field and fuck one of them cows!" said the son enthusiasticly
The father bull said "no son, we'll walk to the field and fuck them all!"
