"Mine doesn't even have the good manners to stick to around the same date each month. Possibly my age these days there though "
Neither does mine, but mine is weight related
I was 2 weeks late last month and 4 days late this month |

"Who do I need to write to or email to opt out?
Surely a text every month to say I'm not pregnant would suffice?
www (dot) auntflo (at) female (dot) com
might be useful"
I'm 36 it's hilarious that you think I wouldn't already know to use a period tracker. |

In a ball gown because that's how we roll in N. Devon |
I've been writing sternly worded missives since pretty much mine started (approximately 160 years ago I think)... and yet have never known where to send them.
Let us know if you find out please OP. |

And I'm sure writing them down will definitely make them go away. Period's don't like being recorded #fact |

"I opted out a few years ago after years of torture. Never on time, weeks of bleeding at a time and crippling pain.
Best thing ive ever done"
I only have 1 working ovary so I'm petrified to take anything that will affect that part of my body
But at this point I'm ready for the menopause! |

"I'm on desogestrel stops my periods completely "
I would love to be able to take BC to stop them. Never seemed to click along with any though. Copper coil has been the only thing that's suited me since my 20's |

I used to use a cup but found them too messy when I was out and about so started using organic tampons which is a teeny bit better than normal ones I guess |

I think you get the knack of them after a while. I can do mine now almost absentmindedly. Yes, a bit messy but I have all sorts of problems so cannot use tampons and hate feeling like I'm sitting in a soggy puddle all day. I'm also very allergic to the stupid scents and random crap they seem to put in a lot of pads. I use unbleached cotton pads as second line defence with the cup.... |
