I remember way back when, the first time I saw this. I wished so hard someone would love me the amount Eddie clearly loved who this song was for. Raw emotion.

James Blunt - Monsters.
You totally know those tears were real, that pain was real. Broke me for days.
My old Boss. "
Obviously never worked for him myself but from what I've seen of him as a person he seems ace. |

Not my usual style however....
Pentatonix- Hallelujah. Their talent is too beautiful not to bring you to tears. It's almost too innocent for this world and that hurts.
If you've never heard this version, please do and use headphones. Acapella and one of the most beautiful things you'll ever hear. |

This one on a personal note. It was my birthday and my friend surprised me with Linkin Park tickets and we drive down from Glasgow to Manchester on that day and I was in the audience in that video.
They have been my favourite band since I was 12 and heard Hybrid Theory for the first time. It would sadly be the only time I seen them live. |

Pearl Jam - Black. MTV Unplugged " OP greatest song ever written, and after seeing them (so many times now) it only gets better, MSQ version was mind blowing, Dublin was also amazing I think he just started it and the crowd took over,, |

I was supposed to see them last year. Would be my first time. It's one of those songs that hits every cell in your body and you cannot not relate in some way, any way.
I still hurt for him every time I hear it and it's what, 30 years old? |

I remember seeing nirvana, smells like teen spirit on MTV. The "world debut". It was 6 pm and I nearly dropped my dinner on the floor. I was totally blown away. And when I got to school you could see the others who seen it and were also in shock.
And my introduction to the cure was a live performance of plainsong which changed my life .
Great thread OP |

Brilliant thread PP
There are lots of songs that move me deeply, some I can’t listen to anymore and others that are simply euphoric..
try this one, Run River North.
https://youtu.be/0u-7-xN9UsY
Yes, the original is shorty good fun but this one matches the sadness of the lyrics that are lost in the original. |

A Moby set a Glastonbury 20 odd years ago was pretty special.
I was high AF on acid, lying in the grass feeling every beat of the music in my bones.
The light show was pretty spectacular too, unless that was just the acid. Anyhow, pretty mind blowing for a teenage Sam. |

I was right here, at the front and moved to tears. Pride in my heart knowing it was taking everything out of him to perform this song, yet he carried on. You could totally feel his pain and see his tears after losing his dad earlier in the year.
Black Stone Cherry - Things my father said. |

I remember feeling very much the same seeing this performed acoustically in Aberdeen, Chris had a cold and it actually really added to his voice in a stripped back setting |
